I bought one for 30.00 but havent yet had the pleasure of boosting my car with it, but it seems to be a very good piece of kit, and it sits in my boot.

this looks to be the same pack I bought:

Agreed,

For the cost, its worth investing in. The only think I can think to do is loosen the contacts and see if I can stop my car starting to really give it a try out, but I dont really have the effort or that :p

I dont regret buying it, worst case scenario it doesnt work because my car is done for in another way, but best case, I just saved myself hours of waiting for recovery on the motorway...

well, i have been looking at load sof these and dont know which one to buy! i did find an auto express review which said the Halfords one came out top but thats £80 i think. then i found one on machine mart which looks heavy duty for a similar price. i dont think i will carry it in the car - most weigh between 7kg to 12kg and would keep it at home - its the wife's car that has the issue - she keeps leaving her car done slightly ajar and the interior light drains the battery - tempted to remove the bulb....

That's an alternative idea or replace with led so it's brighter
