Air Mass/flow Sensor

hi all

has anyone got a air mass sensor for 2006 2.0 tdci as i think the one on my car is dead,no power at low revs but ok with it unpluged.

have you tried cleaning the sensor with brake/carb cleaner? New ones ain't cheap, if it's the same as the one on the1.6, as you can't just swap the sensor, you have to buy the assembly.

yes mate tried cleaning it,no better.A new one is £95 :(

The MAF on a Focus is what they call a hot wire system and is very sensitive to dirt and damage.

TBH a new or reconditioned one is the best bet.

Look for the model code on the side of the tube and find a compatible one on eBay.

The number will look (but not necessarily be exactly) like this-

98AB-12B579-DA

For your guidance this one comes up as compatible and a bit cheaper than £95.
