Fiesta Mk7 (2009)

Do the wheels have to be taken off to fit OEM mudflaps front and rear if none have been on before?

Thanks. :)

Hi Rick, had Ford front and rear flaps fitted at my local independent garage, didnt see what happened but I think it might be easier with the rear wheels off, you should be able to put full lock on the steering and have space to fit the front ok.

Just had a look at mine and there is only about 60mm clearance between the tyre and the fitted flap.

There are some clips and some plastic studs which must also hold them on.

Any how took this picture if this helps.

Cheers

Martin.

Rick,

I forgot to say the photo is the back mud flap.

Cheers.

We had to take my wheels off in the end as it was a rather annoying/fustrating little job fitting the (rear) mudflaps

(I don't have front ones)

Fitted Ford mudflaps to my car without removing the wheel, the only issue I had was the rivet at the front is re-used and I found it too short on the drivers side and it kept popping out.

I bought some longer ones from eBay, the rear clips I cut off as they were a pain to get out.
