DanGersFord
What are you supposed to do when for example you're driving down a country road and come across say a sheep wondering down the road? The last few days ive came across it twice one was a wee lamb and thentoday a full grown sheep and iI always feel terrible after hoping the poor things dont get hit by someone! Are you meant to go to the nearest farm n tell the farmer or phone the police or what?
b1g_dav3
I usually phone the police on the non-emergency number for animals in the road, dead or alive. I come across this a lot, I tend to just warn people if it's 1 or two sheep, but if it's half the herd I'd stop and call the police. Dead animals that are large are a phone call only, if it's a pet though I usually pull over and try and move the animal if I can and alert the owner if possible.
