My 2x interior 12v don't work! The other day my aux cable touched the metal park then it smoked! Now they don't work. Has the fuse gone? Or am I in trouble here? Everything else is fine.

It's most likely te fuse, can't help you with which one though

Wouldn't have thought the AUX cable would have power going through it.

It doesn't but it has either provided and earth path or the metal has shorted out across live and earth in the 12v socket

Check the fuses and find out if ones blown

It smoked and popped. I think it's the fuse. Thanks for the guide. Now I just have to find out where the fuse box is. Passenger side somewhere? It's. a 59 plate focus.

I take it they don't come with spare fuses these days?

In that case you need this link for a 2.5-

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/article/52-diagrams-of-the-focus-late-mk2-and-mk25-fuseboards-and-fuse-values/

The fuse is number 109 and is 20A, the fuse board is up under the passenger side dash, two twist tabs and the board drops down.

Pull the board forward to move the hinge points down into deeper slots so that the board will fold down flatter for easier access.
