Ahh I see just you get after market ones in 16's and also 17's. Did you feel much of a difference from what you had to 18's?

I had titanium 16's . Now St225 18's. Yes it makes a difference .stiffer / slight harder ride , not comfortable on rough roads, have to be cautious avoiding potholes. Soon to come ST225 springs

.

Yea I had the 16's zetec alloys and put the 18" st ones on get more road noise quite a bit bumpier, doesn't accelerate aswell was going to get coil overs but do you recommend the st springs?am gutted I've lost acceleration a bit how ever am hoping once I upgrade exhaust and manifold and intercooler get it remapped should be all good again!

The reduction in power your experiencing is known as "unsprung mass"

The heavier wheels are taking more power to turn, i recommend lowering on Ford approved Eibach springs aswell as rear camber bolts and ford steering limiter kit to prevent the 8" wide 18's chewing the inner wheel arches when turning full lock after lowering.

What have you guys done with your wheels modification wise am really not sure if am going to stick with 18's, the only problem is 16's with low profiles I think would look really small for the size of car but that's just from me trying to imagine it but the 18's might would probably be fine with suspension lowered it's just everything else that's needed to go with it springs fair enough but then camber bolts you mentioned I don't know about them an steering limiter am guessing will reduce my full lock turn? Sorry if am coming across really newbie but I am and trying to learn an understand the mods that I'm going to be doing with the car all information is much appreciated tho

I don’t think the turning circle is that bad to fit steering limiter kit.

What's the camber bolts for?

I didn't try drive without the limiter kit after lowering on the 18x8 facelift ST alloys, so i cant say for sure its not required, i had the limiter kit fitted at the same time as the lowering springs by ford.

This is what the steering limiter kit looks like.

Camber adjustment bolts cost around 25 pounds, made by Eibach and designed to correct the camber of the rear tyres after fitting the lowering springs the wheels will become negative causing them to face slightly upwards.

This is called negative camber and causes excessive wear on the inside section of the tyre

Instead of even surface wear.

Eibach-Camber_zps495c13c9.jpg

By fitting adjustable camber bolts the the correct wheel alignment can be set when using laser equipment to set the tyre tow in tow out and camber,

Resulting in 100% thread surface to road contact saving you money on tyres and improved handling.

Only rear camber bolts are required when fitting lowering springs.

But

If fitting coil overs then you would also need adjustable front tower strut mounts and caster kit to align the front camber aswell as rear.

Lowerd on ford eibahs with rear camber alignment bolts on 18x8 looks like this:
