that's a good thing to have but scary when it does come on.

wounder if mine has this

yes it is, whilst driving when it came on , although it didnt jerk /judder or feel any difference in drive. i pulled in a garage & checked tyre pressure & realized rear tyre had only around 26 psi, it maybe less if the tyre was cold,i had been driving for 28 miles so warm.

Mine doesn't have the pressure sensor technology,

Felt vibrations on left side while driving,

Checked wheel 19PSI in a 35mm low profile tyre.

Not only that but my 18" rim is buckled,

Nice repair bill of 58 quid this week.

The Focus's don't use any pressure sensors but works off the ABS system and requires 2 ticks on the ELMConfig software

Do the newer models use pressure sensors?

Also will ours have different Abs bearings to sense this?

As far as I know the mk2 & mk2.5 work off the standard abs sensors

When you press info stalk after the fuel reset you will come across tyre pressure set/reset . Hold it till it says tyre pressure set. Atleast you will know if you have the feature

I have this option but i must have set it when the pressure was low in the tyre as it didnt alert me.

When ever I check my tyre pressures and I add air I always do a reset, believe it takes a few miles for the system to relearn itself

More update!

Just had 4 wheel alignment done.

I was surprise to see the how much alignment was out.

O/side rear was towing out 5mm

Nearside rear towing in

O/side front out

Nearside out or something like this .in other words in was out of align. But it never felt any misbehaviour on road. I was quite surprised.

No ive not used BlackDiamond before but read good reviews on them. But like all . In heavy race use ( highly unlikely in mine or your case cos we dont have that performance) they can crack when theyre drilled & grooved. Also heard the a little noisy .maybe whistling thru holes.

These cost me £165 inc pp.

Dcp performance.co.uk is cheapest.

Mine were price matched by LK performance in west yorkshire.
