mcdoo
Hi all. Am a new member and wonder if any of you have came across this fault. The problem is the car cuts out at random rpm (usually between 2-3000rpm). Read up on this fault and seemed to be a common crankshaft sensor problem.. replaced the crankshaft sensor and small electric pump under rear wheel arch. didn't help the problem so got it checked on the computer and came up with these faults: p1608 internal ecm malfunction and p0335 crankshaft position sensor a circuit malfunction. cleared the faults and these 2 came back. have been told this may be the fuel injection pump? would anybody know if this would be correct or have came across this problem before. Any help would be appreciated. Oh it's a ford mondeo tddi 2001. Thanks.
mintalkin
it could be a communication problem from the crank sensor check the wireing loom for any breaks.
