Quick question, in the wiki it says to remove the handbrake cable, is that really neccessary?


changing the discs and the pads on the rear, cant i just leave it hanging with  a bungee rope, and wind the piston back in normally?

suppose if you're not takin it off & giving it a really good clean out you can. think its just good protocol in case you kink the cable

dont forget youll need a windback tool to wind the caliper in.
