ahouse Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 Just had a health check by Lookers on my Focus 1.6 Zetec petrol 2002. The car was in for a VSS change. Incidentally it cost £107 to replace. The health check said that the CAT hanger bracket has corroded through. They could only offer a full replacement of the Catalytic converter at £450. I've read a few posts and it seems the hanger bracket rattling is a common problem. However I can't find anywhere (website) to buy new ones, the cost, or if its an easy fix. Any help would be great.
