jeebowhite
WD40 in the joint is a good place to start, how seized is it overall? or is it just becoming more resistant?
englishbullterrier
Mine nearly jammed ON the tank. Be careful and strip/clean it and ensure it's free to lock/unlock before putting back on the filler tube !
hubby1959
My son twisted his key on his MK4 trying to get the cap off, we ended up replacing it with an aftermarket cap and separate key. The last thing anyone needs is to break a key in the petrol cap, especially as it's the same key as the ignition
