Hello,

Basically I have got the needle to below the red marking and still the fuel warning light won't turn on. The bulb is fine. The light turns on with all the other lights like engine check but then just disappears.

It's only started doing it recently.

I think the low fuel light only comes on when there's 50 or less miles estimated to be remaining.

I certainly don't recall mine tripping until hitting 50 miles remaining.

Agreed its only the 50 miles remaining, so if your car estimates more than that, then you wont see it until then...

whats the estimated range?

My don't have the dash that tell me estimated range. It's the 2005 mk2 model.
