Ford Escort 1.6 Finesse (2000) Vibration At 60+Mph

hi there, ive recently aquired an escort finesse, and noticed when i get to 60 or more i start to feel vibration and get shake in the steering wheel not terribly, but is definately there. ive recently had the tracking done on the car. so all good there. any suggestions??

check the brake disk isnt warped as thats a good indicator, could otherwise be the camber or the tracking?

Could also be a track rod arm possibly slightly bent, I had this before and as soon as it was changed it drove smooth as a babies bum lol

Also make sure your tyres are the correct psi

There is also the obvious. If the vibration is only through the steering wheel it could be the balancing on the front wheels. If the whole car feels like it is vibrating then it will be the rear.

I had this on my Fiesta, and it turned out the wheels were not balanced

thank you all for your replies, i have had the tracking done recently as well as a new set of discs put on, old ones were warped. my next step oddly enough was to have both front wheels re-balanced, i.e see if they have correct weights on them. Havnt thought of the track rod arm tho.mmm
