ST Spoiler fitted, however slight issue with the brake light connector. Doesn't fit the existing socket for the car.

Any advice as to what I need to do?

Connection coming from the car:

Chop the connector off the light and splice it to the original wires with scotchlocks or cut both plugs off and use crimps or solder.

Take off the connector from your original spoiler and swap it over with the St one, wires are the same just use a point knife or thick needle to unlock the pins in the connector

Daylight has faded, I'll do the wiring tomorrow now ;) Didn't put silicone down as I'll be taking the spoiler off again tomorrow.

Spoiler is looking great fitted mate,

Completes the flow of design nicely,

Even if you had bought the spoiler new from ford the ford fitting kit comes with crimp connections

The instructions advise cutting the existing loom plug and fitting the replacement loom extension.

Wierd they didnt just use the same loom plug&socket for all brake light units.

Not had much time this weekend, but finally finished the spoiler. Spliced the new brake light into the existing power cable. All working ok. Seems the new brake light has LED's rather than halogen bulbs. I'll take some pics at night and post.

Yeah love the new spoiler, looks great and the rain trickling through the spoiler grooves looks ace

Gave the Focus a good clean today, heavens opened up mid way through, fun fun, lol. Grabbed a couple night shots of the ST Spoiler brake light lit at night:
