Hyrule
ST Spoiler fitted, however slight issue with the brake light connector. Doesn't fit the existing socket for the car. Any advice as to what I need to do? Connection coming from the car: Brake light connector:
Stoney871
Chop the connector off the light and splice it to the original wires with scotchlocks or cut both plugs off and use crimps or solder. mixmasterlooney
Take off the connector from your original spoiler and swap it over with the St one, wires are the same just use a point knife or thick needle to unlock the pins in the connector Sent from my GT-N7105 using Ford OC mobile app

Lenny
Spoiler is looking great fitted mate, Completes the flow of design nicely, Even if you had bought the spoiler new from ford the ford fitting kit comes with crimp connections The instructions advise cutting the existing loom plug and fitting the replacement loom extension. Wierd they didnt just use the same loom plug&socket for all brake light units.
Hyrule
Not had much time this weekend, but finally finished the spoiler. Spliced the new brake light into the existing power cable. All working ok. Seems the new brake light has LED's rather than halogen bulbs. I'll take some pics at night and post.
