jeebowhite
Haha yeah I know what you mean, I keep looking at small workarounds to make the car look better. I just keep getting too many ideas off what other people do and I know I soon need to take a break from modding I just don't know if I have the strength lol Sent from my MY SAGA C2 using Ford OC mobile app
mixmasterlooney
Thank you ben, your car colour has grown onto me and at the time of purchase I wouldn't have wanted anything other than silver or white now it sorts of bore me. James you can always make it look better with Clarkson's hammer techniques Sent from my GT-N7105 using Ford OC mobile app

Hyrule
Fitted a new glove box light one of the LED pads. I had one before which died a horrible death. Tidied up the wiring for the rear footwell lights so the wires are better hidden under the plastic panels. And put in some LED Strips, been thinking about where to put them for awhile, but my eldest nephew helped out and we decided on the latter: Gleaming even more now:)
Hyrule
Finally had a little stab and painting some of the exterior plastics. Little dull and grey for my tastes. Using a gloss black paint, which apparently doesn't require primer. So cleaned and sanded down this section and applied with paint brushes as was too windy to spray. Leaving overnight to see how the finish is. Stay tuned diffuser and front skirt fitting tomorrow weather permitting.

Hyrule
liking the colour coded bonnet lip. did you have much trouble taking it off as iv had a look but don't fancy trying it my self Cheers mate. It's pretty easy to take off. I used a heat gun, heated up the chrome strip, used a flat blade screwdriver with masking tape over it to avoid scratching. Lifted off left side, then right side, then middle. No broken clips. The heat is used to warm up the adhesive strips that also hold the lip onto the bonnet. I bought a brand new lip and painted it myself and it comes with the fittings and adhesive strips. It's worth putting some more adhesive strips on the sides of the lip as mine didn't come with these and it's slight raised on the edges. This is probably the first time I have ever seen led strips and thought it looks truly good, hats off. Rather stunning show Sent from my GT-N7105 using Ford OC mobile app Hehe I was debating for months where to put them, then my nephew suggested at the side after I explained to him where the power was going to come from for these. I wanna see Julia once you finished your current major job ;)
Hyrule
This humidity is great for a tan, but horrid for my parking sensor screen. The adhesive just keeps melting lol, so gave up and ordered a windscreen mount, so far working out great. It's small and compact: Also bought some new AC/Heater Control Knobs:

Hyrule
Still lots more to do, but glad these parts are off my sofa after a couple of months of waiting. Currently painting the tow eye cover for the new diffuser so that still needs to be fitted. Focus needs a good clean which I will do later this week, but very happy with the new bits of kit.
