Looks sweet, the gloss black grille and fogs really matches your car colour

Crikey its been April since I did any modifications, I'm beginning to feel withdrawal symptoms lol.

Been saving money for other things and my car insurance was due today, so just dropped 550 notes on that.

Lots more planned. Still got front splitter and rear diffuser to paint and fit.

New brakes and calipers to paint

Dash Cam

But I treated myself to some new car mats lol. Nothing too fancy. Stay Tuned.

Mobius Dashcam fitted over the weekend - just managed to test it last night. Quite like it, small discreet and great quality, easy to fit thanks to Kurt's guide. Went with the suction mount for now and a 32gb Sandisk Class 10 card.

Just need to inform insurers, hopefully wrangle a discount lol. Be warned the video is far from exciting, just me driving home yesterday night

Yeah that 1080p native recording is crisp. I did convert it from .mov to .mp4 though before uploading.

Only thing is I think I may have set it to record upside down by accident LOLOL.

Yeah there is an option to flip the video during recording. I have mine set to rotate video on auto recording and no rotation on manual recording in case I take it out the car I won't have to turn the camera upside down when recording in hand or on a tripod

Ok so my Mobius Dash cam is doing some weird stuff. it will record say a couple gigabytes of video, say 4-5 separate .mov files. Then the rest will basically be unplayable.

I try to open them and I'm greeted with the error : error-2048, Couldn't open the file REC_0015.MOV because it is not a file that quicktime understands. I've tried playing the files in VLC and GOM player, but same issue.

I've made sure the Mobius has the latest firmware and I have Genuine Sandisk Class 10 32gb Micro sd card.

What do you reckon it could be, dash cam or the sd card?

Format your car using that format tool or format it in the camera.

The other thing I notice is your film length, reduce it to 3 mins. Longer the file is more chance of it being corrupt or damage

Cool, I've formatted it again and I'll reduce the length see if it makes any improvement.

make sure that its only up to 32GB capacity and make sure its formatted as FAT32, these things cant talk in any other formatted language, or they do up to the boundaries of where they are happy and then beyond that, they dont understand what they are writing to which is why it corrupts.

I'm assuming the built in formatting tool formats it in FAT32, if not I'll slap it in my PC later today.

Ok so followed your advice, adjusted video to 3mins,  formatted the card in the dashcam tested, same issue, records a couple gigabytes, then the rest of the videos are unplayable.

Formatted the card in my PC to FAT32. Tested. Same thing.

I'm gonna order a new card to rule that out, and I've emailed the seller in case he has seen this issue before.
