Just a quick question.

I have a 2010 car would it be necessary to update the system? Or will it be already upgraded?

If you don't have any issues there is no necessity. If you do it's worth a shot (it would not have been updated during regular service visits unless you mentioned an issue which required the update).

I've just tried connecting my Samsung S3 to the car and it says 'connected to media and...' something else which I can't remember.
