Can anyone help me?

I have an 04 Focus C-max 1.8 with rear parking sensors. The problem is they are too quiet.

Is there any way of turning them up?

Are these factory fitted Sensors? or are they aftermarket ones?

I dont believe you can actually amend the volume of either unfortunately...

I'm not sure about the factory fitting but if you cant adjust the volume the kids will have to keep being quiet when I'm parking (which isn't so bad if you make it a game).

Thanks for the help though, at least that's 1 mystery solved.

if you can locate the sounder unit these are usually on a long enough wire that you can locate it to a better position you can here it.

Normally its behind the RHS panel in the boot. You need to remove the black plastic trim that is surrounding the catch. Once you have taken this off, you move the seal out of the way and tug the plastic wall back into the boot and gain access to the beeper. if you do choose to move it.

Apologies, to correct my error, it is on the LHS (nearside).

If you need any help, give me a shout, I did a reverse sensor installation a few months ago so am well rehearsed in the art of boot stripping :)
