Hi all, I haven't been in here for a while.

I'm a little confused with my horn, it does work but only quietly, I had tried a replacement horn itself but it sounds exactly the same and also cleaned the connector with WD40 but still no luck, what could it be?

Either bad earth or not enough voltage getting to it. Make sure it's earthed to a clean piece of metal ie no rust

FIXED IT!!!!! you're right it was an earthing problem, the supporting metal arm was corroded so I sanded this down and hey presto as good as new.

It's a pain in the backside though, had to remove the passenger wheel, wheel arch lining and water tank so I was able to get to one bolt.

Happy to help and sometimes I think they make hard so you take it in to get it fixed

Haha valid point, only now got to sort out a clunk from the passenger side wheel, the exhaust clamp banging on the axle, clutch making a clicking noise when setting off, paint liquor flaking and exhaust melting the rear defusor. So not a lot!
