davybeer
Hi All and thanks for accepting me to the group :-) I have recently purchased a stunning S-max 2008 2.2 titanium Individual in black with 45,000 on the clock. Purchased from a main dealer but have just checked fluid levels (being rather warm at the mo) noticed that some idiot (must have been when it was serviced before purchase) has over filled the Oil- I have looked underneath but unsure where the Sump is to drain some out- Help me guys- Thanks
Preee
Hi and welcome to the Forums. I would imagine there will be an engine bottom cover you have to remove , re-check when it's cool and on a flat surface just to make sure before you drain any oil.

gregers
take it back and insist they remove it,remember if you do anything they may say you have invalidated any warranty? and dont hang about from what i understand overfilling can cause a few problems.
