Guest
Hi Guys, I'm looking to replace the buttons for the heated windscreens (back and front) and i'm having difficulty removing them, is there a plan of action i need to take? The buttons i currently have have worn away (being its a used car) so i wish to get them sorted. cheers!
JW1982
The easiest way is to remove the radio surround panel first. For the MK2.5 with the oval shaped radio this panel is fully clicked. Next you can remove the 2 screws of the switch panel and pull it out (the switch panel is also clicked). When the panels comes loose you can push the switches out from the back. JW1982
To remove the radio surround panel you just have to pull firmly. The best way is to start at the bottom of the panel and if the clips release themselves you can work upwards.
