Very sorry to hear about this one!

I guess without an independent valuation on the car they will give you market value? Which lets be honest, will ever replace what you have lost.
Send them as many in depth photos of the restoration if you have them and receipts etc to try ad prove what you have invested.

Its sad to think that there are scum out there who go to shows just to see what they can/will steal! I hate to bring it up but you never know, maybe you spoke to them at some point and just don't know it.

I do hope it is returned to you in the condition it left. If only I could help you.

there can never be enough security. i hard some shouting last night where i live (next to an industrial unit) and clearly heard " get away from the effing gates and do not return" so gives me a bit of nervousness as you dont know what the scum are after.

I really hope you find your car asap and in one piece mate.

I've ordered some telescopic posts for my drive even though my car is in the garage. wife aint happy and thinks i'm paranoid. updating the cctv soon too to a better spec.

I'm in the Liverpool area, but all the same will keep an eye out. You never know!

Fingers crossed it's spotted.

Will keep an eye out around the kent area, might also ask some of the lads who drive the country to keep an eye out and see if they come across it, its hardly in-distinctive now is it!

I hope it turns up soon! but if I find myself behind one, I will have the bobbies on its tail one way or another...

Some people are just utter scum and should be locked up and key thrown away but no doubt he had a troubled upbringing or some other c**p. Someone tried to do my house twice when I had the Scooby but luckily they were too stupid to actually get in and my last car was done when I accidently forgot to lock it one night when the coppers caught him the little !Removed! said I deserved it cause Ididn't lock it like I forced his grubby little hands to try the door!

I will keep an eye out in West Yorkshireforyou. My first car was a K reg MK1 in yellow so I understand your love for them, fingers crossed for you.
