hi, can someone have a look at this picture and tell me if something should be attached to where i've marked in yellow , and what it should be.

thanks for the pics, still no idea, its probably nothing , its not affecting the performance of the car , i can't understand why there's 3 screw holes there

sorry should have explained on earlier post, its an electronicaly controlled butterfly valve which was introduced on the euro 4 engine, if your is an earlier model i do not think they had them so shoud not worry.

it's a butterfly valve, which is a type of flow control device.

i should be getting my diploma in the subject in the next couple of weeks :D

didnt start out with mechanics though lol. did childcare for a year.

well done , it sounds like you have found the career you want to do at an early age , i hope you are enjoying it , you never know you might run your own buisness one day , and we all might need your advice on here . :D :)
