Fiesta vs Corsa

just wondering how a Fiesta 1.25 mk4,mk5 compares to a Corsa c 1.2 both got the same power (75hp) but which is faster acceleration and midrange

It depends on the valves and engine condition really mate.

But I would say in general unfortunately the corsa is slightly faster.

well just comparing the 1.2 16v 75hp in both cars... both have same stats on parkers and both weight about the same i no the later twinsport ones are faster though i recon as they have 78bhp could be down to gearing though and torque

The corsa generally is a faster car.

However for overall performance (i.e. Cornering etc) the fiesta nips it for me.

Also, regarding lovability and practicality I would opt for the Fiesta. Of cause its only my opinion, but the fiesta looks much nicer too!

Personally i think the Corsa looks sportier in it's basic looks but i prefer the Fiesta in its MK5/new model guise as it has more room inside and looks 'classier'.

Leave the Corsa for the 'boy racers!'
