Uniondog
Hi all, I have only just joined the forum, and specifically because I am quite amazed with what I just brought, and would like to know what you guys think? I just paid £500 ($745) for an automatic 1989 Ford Escort 1.6 Ghia, which has only just done over 10’000 miles. It has a full service history so I know it’s genuine, and the body is fairly decent as well. Due to its very low mileage, I have been advised to not use it much and instead sell it to a Ford enthusiast, but wasn’t sure if this style of Ford even with the low mileage would be desired or not? Any advice would be greatly received

Uniondog
Cheers again Vinny, (for anyone who isn’t on the other site, my reply was) I was only looking for a reliable but cheap to run car for work, when my father-in-law found me this one. I am more then happy to keep it because it runs well and should last for quite a while. The only reason why I was advised to sell, was because a few people have said how rare it is to get such an old car that hasn’t been modified, with an extremely low mileage that it might be of some interest to a Ford Enthusiast? I don’t know much about it all I have to be honest, so I decided that Id post the details about and get the opinion of some people that do know what they are talking about before taking any action. I will try and get some pictures done.
