Thanks, really impressed with the colour matching considering it hasn't been out in the sun long. The camera makes the plastic body panels look a slightly different colour, but in the metal you wouldn't even know the spoiler had not been on since the beginning.

Seeing your car next to mine at FF made the back of mine look so bare, almost naked, lol. Had to be done.

Oh and btw, have you had a chance to find out what the miracle black plastic stuff is? I have had a look at some of the off the shelf stuff but am not convinced.

Alex

haha i finally have the answer for you , i drove him mad this week and cornered him again today.

This is the stuff he gave me

http://www.trafalgardirect.co.uk/

http://www.trafalgar...k/prods/48.html

when he brought out the tub he handed it to me to look at and then said to keep it :) , theres about 1.5 litres left.

Applying is simple , small sponge  , i used about 3 table spoons full , to do my whole car before the show.

Nice one, thanks for that.

Will have to see if I can get some at some point. Found an offer on some Dodo juice fantastic plastic trim dressing which I'm going to give a go too.

My car is going through a few problems at the moment, the locking/keyless system is playing up and now the entire set of controls on the drivers door has stopped working (mirrors, windows, etc). Just waiting on some Ford (head?) engineers to get in touch with my local garage, they may have to send someone down from head office to take a look.

In spite of that, I have ordered some new shoes for my car today! Always wanted these since I first saw them in the brochure before I bought the car. :D

And it should look something like this:

Now just got to wait a week or two for them to get them in.....

New shoes are fitted!

I'll take some better pictures after I have cleaned it, you'll have to excuse the gold brake discs too, it has only been sat still overnight.

Really pleased with them, especially the off silver colour. It's hard to see in a photo.

Cleaning was part of the reason I changed them, hated cleaning the old 15 spoke alloys. Funny thing, they have actually painted the inside of these rims black so although I can reach in to clean them, you're unlikely to notice, lol.
