jmorton01
I have been searching on the Internet for a while now to find out how to change the cabin filter and the location of it?! Could someone help me in this as some say its in the engine bay and others say its in the passenger footwell. Many thanks
Aldoo
On your mk2 its passenger footwell. basically, the more you can remove - the easier it is! glove box, side of the centre console and dropping the fuse box and the fuse box back plate ..also helps if you can dislocate several body parts or contort into the footwell - but certainly don't let it put you off, a set of torx keys and a 13mm socket/spanner is all you need (iirc)

Aldoo
there's a quick video I just found - there's probably better ones if you search the filter is back-right-hand behind the centre console area (im only saying as with a lot of instructions it gets a bit confusing when the images are zoomed in so far that you cant tell where they are)
