I believe its euro 4 compliant and so will likely have the DPF filter

Cheers jee only asking because ive got the egr blanking plate and been doing loads of research to see if its a bad or good idea

It depends, DPF's can be a nightmare if they are not maintained correctly (and a £1000 bill every 6 years) however if you passive regenerate it regularly (motorway run) then it can last you many thousands of miles, plus you can remove and remap when it does go up the swanny for around £350, rather than £1000.

I was thinking if it does go of drilling a few holes though it, a mate of mine did a manual regen not long ago and rest the counter on it back to 0 as when they start racking up the miles it starts acting up due to the ecu reading the amount of miles on it, it has done 107000 miles tho.

Dont forget that just drilling holes isnt enough, you will likely also need to delete the DPF from the ECU.
