Maximillion
I've just taken delivery of a new Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0 Titanium (having traded in a Ford Focus Titanium - that had a "Titanium" badge on the tail-gate). The new Fiesta does not have a Titanium badge anywhere. Why is this?
000
Not sure, but neither does my new zetec s...! Strange decision by ford.
DanGersFord
This is a move by ford due to a high number of the higher spec cars being broken into/stolen etc.

Loz Cheung
they've not been on them for about 2 years now. i thought it was cost cutting!
DanGersFord
If you realy want a badge they are available but like I sy thts the reason. Thiefs were looking at the badges knowing it was a high spec car stealing them for all the added extras etc
Maximillion
Accepted: perhaps not worth the risk - although car thieves aren't fools; looking inside a car will tell them what they need to know!

Or looking at the front and rear diffuser!
DanGersFord
The thing is unless youre for example a ford enthusiast such as members of this forum you would be unlikely to know the exact differences between models :)
Maximillion
Perhaps, but even BMW, Mercedes and Porche use bages/symbols to distinguish between models.
E5GDM
This is a move by ford due to a high number of the higher spec cars being broken into/stolen etc. Really? Not sure why a thief would see the alloys, & body kits but leave it alone as it didnt have a badge.
DanGersFord
Hey im not saying its completely logical but thats the reason ford gave apparently given. Dont shoot the messenger
