Hello everyone

I just joined the Ford owners Club and thought I would introduce myself. I am the proud owner of a 1992 Ford P100 pickup. It's been fitted with a 2.0 Pinto engine and is in great condition! Having had a 2.3 diesel Sierra and 2.0 Sierra, I feel very much at home driving it and its going to be immensely useful, I hope. It has electronic ignition, running off the OEM distributor and what I think is called an MT75 gearbox? Apparently, its supposed to be better in many ways than the standad one. I just removed and cleaned the Weber carb that's on it, as the tickover was irregular and the engine kept dying at low revs. I put in a new accelerator pump diaphragm, cleaned everything thoroughly and blew threw all the jets etc and it now purrs away perfectly. Also changed the oil and filter, plugs and air filter and cleaned the camshaft oil spray bar. Tappet gaps are all fine and within specs.

I'll post some pix once I've cleaned it.

Nice to 'meet' you all!
