Hi. The engine management light was on my 2012 1.6 Fiesta for a couple of days. It was driving fine and I needed the car for a couple of very short trips so have carried on driving it. I was going to book the car in to the garage today but the light and message have now gone out. Should I still take it to the garage? If so will they be able to download the error code or will that have disappeared to?  Thanks Jagger

Error codes will remain in the ECU until manually removed, even if the light is out. I would say continue to take it in, and get it reviewed.
