My Escort MK1 cost me £300 and I sold it for £700, last time I ever made a profit on a car.

Mk1 escort 1.3 auto ( I chopped this in two as I snapped it pretending to be a rally driver)

Mk1 granada 3.0 ghia

Mk3 Capri 3.0

Mk4 Cortina 1.6

Mk4 Cortina 2.0 S

Mk5 Cortina 2.0 Crusader (I built this from crash damaged bare shell I was given and I collected it on a milkfloat, good ol days lol)

Mk3 Capri 1.6 laser

Mk1 Sierra 1.6

Mk1 Sierra 1.6

Mk5 Escort 1.4LX

Mk2 Sierra 4x4

Mk1 Focus 1.8

Mk2 Focus 1.6 tdci est

Mk2 Focus 1.6 (the wifes car)

If I could have one of them again, the Mk1 Granada would win hands down closely followed by the 4x4 both cars were immaculate examples. this has hurt my head thinking back that far but I do know Ive owned a lot more non fords than fords, was mostly the early years, then now.

Which scooby did you have? I had a R reg turbo dealer special edition with front splitter kit and short shift and rear spoiler. It was  amazing very fast especially the road holding around the bends, mind you only had about 15k on the clock when I bought it, 96k when I sold and I serviced it at Subaru dealers every 7500 miles which kept it in tip top condition.

Know what you mean about French cars. Son has had 2 clios, they are c**p. But now has a Clio sport 197which so far is very good.
