Road tested a 1.6 zetec 58 plate diesel with the view to buy but could not get the cruz control to work.Is there a hidden switch other than the stalk button or do you need to be going a certain speed?

Is there any known problems with 1.6 like the 1.4 injector seals?I`m new to diesels and a bit concerned about them.Any advice greatly recieved.

As far as i'm aware cruise control was never standard or an option on a Fusion. If you're reverring to the button on the left stalk, it's not for cruise control, it's for scrolling through the menu in the dash.
