BOXERDAWG
Hi everyone. Have searched the forum for info on my daughters 2001 petrol Mondeo sounding like a diesel and have come to the conclusion that's it's the butterfly valves in the manifold. Have read they can be disconnected behind the throttle body, but does anyone have some more info for me please? Where is the throttle body...and what does it look like that I have to disconnect. Will get the car fixed ASAP, but just need this temporary fix so she can get to work. Thanks for reading and any info would be really appreciated. BOXERDAWG
Thanks for that mintalkin, that's exactly the info I needed. Have just pulled out the vacuum pipe and complete silence!! The car has only done 68,000 and has a full service history. Thanks again for your help.
