Byron95
In order to paint my trim ,"do i need a code to disconnect the radio?" or is simply disconnecting the battery good enough to stop my radio locking
D13 HPD 95
I take it your asking about a mk7?? If so take the gator plate off the gear knob by pulling it il, remove the heater and secrect tray flap, then remove the LCD display top face, you now have all access to the radio trim 4 bolts and pull up, just unplug the radio, no codes needed dont even need to remove the battery only 12volts next to no amps so your fine, paint the trim put all back togerher and plug in works fine, done this to 3 mk7s and worked perfectly same as before no codes needed
