Dumb Question..maybe ?

As you know the headlight shape changed on the fiesta from around 2010 I think. The prior model had protruding headlights whereas the new one is smooth to the body..

so..the dumb question

Is there anyway to retro fit the smooth headlights to the older model

My wife loves the drive and the general look of the 2006-2010 fiesta but HATES the headlamps

..ok now I will wait for the answer and wait to be humiliated !

Cheers

If you could post a picture of the two different headlights that you're on about it would help although the mk6.5 fiesta (2005-2008) is a completely different car from the mk7 2010 fiesta

Quite right..just realised when I took snapshots that the bonnets are different !! ( see attached )

Is no retro fit smooth glass..I would guess not.. anyway worth asking

Yeah unfortunatly they're completely different cars, ie different bumpers, bonnet and light fixing points. You won't be able to retrofit the lights at all unfortunatly

What year is your wife's car? If its a mk 6.5 then have you considered fitting the mk6 headlights, as they don't have the "bubble" or frog eye look........

You'll want a fiesta from 2009 onwards then :) that's the mk7. The mk6.5 was2005-2008 (that the one with.the bump in the headlights)

And the mk6 like the picture in my previous post ran from 2002-2005, very similar to the mk6.5 only subtle changes to the lights, bumpers and dash.
