How many pubes have been found? And what about the Human Slime?

 I need to rent the Rug Doctor again to find out about the human slime aspect mate,

Need to do the carpet, roof lining, door cards and seats,

Same for the pubes  didn't find any thankfully but I did find lots of coins including some Japanese currency,

Also for those who don't understand the human slime terminology,

Check out this thread with video to the guys at Mighty Car Mods

I've got two interiors now so one is for sale and I need to clean the other one,

I may get back at it tomorrow to remove the headlining and some dash parts in search of areas requiring attention,

I also need to check the ECU to see which one it is,

Automatic or manual,

5 speed or 6 speed,

They can't be remapped unless piggy backed,

But I've been told some people put a 5 speed ecu in to a 6 speed for higher rev in the lower gears,

Or fit an automatic ecu with neutral sensor to eliminate the factory speed limiter,

I fear mine may still have an automatic ecu hence the neutral sensor box fitted,

But I'll change to a 6 speed manual ecu if its not already fitted,

I can exchange my auto ecu if fitted and my second BZR interior in with breakers in exchange for interior parts that are in better condition or factory upgrade items,

I feel like mike brewer

lol, it was a price I didnt mind paying, I just have to go four days without internets on the run, but I am sure I can cope ;) it is a bit cheeky though that we all have to pay out for it!

I just wonder how much pleasure it brings VickiC, I suppose the scales are tipped more in your favour than

Nothing I like about levin james ...tis a ugly boy racer ...I don't mind projects but getting fed up with parts and tools all over house...most missus wudnt be happy

Pity ye didn't look like mike brewer

I'm about 10" smaller in the waist and 14" taller, and I don't wear PVC leather jackets

Some day, mikes gonna walk in to the garage holding a coffee and ed's gonna come down on em with a wheel brace across the back of the head.

Update:

Went back at the car today,

Removed the centre console, front seats and lower dash section including glove box,

. Image3879_zps6be20e33.jpg

.Image3880_zpsdcd9a9eb.jpg

Image3881_zps29465d66.jpg

Found no more areas requiring treatment for rust so I've refitted the parts again today,

I traced the starbo sensor box and found it links up to an aerial and a main control box labeled Starbo RS-1500

. Image3882_zpsc7f8a1bd.jpg

So I've looked it up and found its not a bypass system to allow an automatic car use a manual gear box.

Its an auto start engine system controlled via remote it allows the engine to heat up to temperature prior to driving,

And when parked it keeps the engine running until cooled down,

The system operates seperate of the alarm system,

And since I son have a fob to control it,

I've removed the starbo system from the car because its no use to me and a dead weight,

The alarm system still functions 100%

And I've had the chassis number checked out by Toyota,

My Levin was never an automatic it was always a 6 speed manual with LSD

Happy days :)

Thanks James,

He assumed the box lying loose was from a auto transmission because it said neutral sensor for manual trans,

But its a neutral sensor designed to ensure the car isint in gear when remote start s activated,

But since I don't have the remote, I took it out completly

I'm back now from having the 5h1t pipe removed and the quieter back box fitted,

I also got a flat tyre when exiting the drive way,

Unfortunately the deflation didn't stop with the tyre

Well to finish the good news,

The 5h1t pipe is actually a Jasma stainless exhaust from japan, and sale has been agreed on it,

Yesterday went well,

Finding no rust in the front section of the inside, so the only areas requiring treatment on the inside is the support brackets under the rear seat, and the boot wells,

Today,

I got the car up over head on a ramp,

Had a good luck under it,

Got the silencer fitted and it is quieter,

However there's 5 rusted holes in the exhaust system in total,

The oxygen sensor is missing completely including the loom,

So where are the holes in the exhaust Lenny?

Hole either side on flange of the Catalyst,

Hole on front and rear of the pre silencer

And to my surprise despite all the holes,

There's still pressure coming from the rear silencer

Its half the noise now with the silencer replaced but my god there's a long way to go now guys,

To be honest though,

Regardless of what the exhaust had been like on it,

I had plans to fit a fujitsubo stainless 4-2-1 extractor manifold

200 cell catalyst

Varex remote rear muffler,

But I hadn't planned on purchasing it before MOT,

This is no big issue really, just means the car won't be on the road until April being realistic,

Now after full investigation and dissecting the car, in order to pass MOT it requires:

Full exhaust,

Windscreen washer bottle,

Headlight alignment,

Windscreen,

Full service spark plugs, oil, oil filter, induction filter.

Call me crazy guys but I'm not given in,

I'm gonna do it, may take me a year but I'll do it and keep it.

The body could be a lot worse, and the mechanic says the engine sounds sweet just the exhaust system needs much attention.

So where are we going from here?

Well its down tools for the rest of this month, not much can be done to it at present,

Its quieter now so I can keep it ticking over in the drive without upsetting neighbours

Collecting the Cwest front bumper at the end of the month,

Maybe pick up a replacement heater control unit and washer bottle before the end of the year,

But that's about all.

January 2014

I'll start to piece together the exhaust system aswell as get an exact price on the paint job.

February/march

Go ahead with the body shop work,

March/April

Book MOT and hope for the best.

Following that I'll work on a nice stereo system and Speakers.

Plenty of plans Lenny, and as for Vicki :P haha, probably is still a believer, I do however wonder if you played any part in the suspiciously magical flat tyre acquirer on leaving the driveway...

Not so much plans as must do items, pain in the hole to be honest mate,

I too ponderd about vandalism on the wheel,

But on sourcing the puncture I found that it was the beading that had become weak, allowing air to escape,

No nails or screws involved thankfully,

lol, dont you just love the "must have repairs" rather than the "must have mods"... as for the puncture, I know how much Vicki loves that car of yours :p

 will a 200cell cat pass MOT

And what's the going rate for the one your thinking of?

What you reckon on the o2 sensor mate,

Should I have a light on dash?

I'm not happy about it to be honest,

Also final update for this year will be collecting the Cwest front bumper at the end of the month,

Perhaps a heater control unit aswell but nothing serious.

Update:

Got some pictures of the quiet silencer fitted today,

Its not a great fit but it will do the job for keeping it running,

Apparently its removed from a 2001 Toyota avensis,

IMG_20131019_143920_zps2330f1cc.jpg

I also got time to clean and polish up the jasma exhaust that was removed from the car,

Its stainless steel too, shame its so loud,

Stuck it on my youngest daughters bike for some images bwaaaaa

Been busy at work myself mate,

Working nights last week 11-7am then up until 4pm most days researching the car or removing parts from the interior,

Its been a long week,

The 200 cell cat is the way for me to go then mate,

How many cells has a standard one ?

You know with the week its been,

I've failed to check if the engine check light comes on along with all the lights on ignition,

I'll have a look at that later and try swap the bulbs in the cluster,

Hopefully the loom hasn't been cut somewhere,

I'm number 1 in a list of 5 for a group buy,

Purchasing a genuine Toyota Den so lambda sensor from japan,

They need 5 names to purchase two on the list including myself so far,

There's no smoke from the engine at all and the exhaust system needs replacing aswell as heater control and washer bottle, but after that we should be good.

Cheers mate,

I'm thankfull the problems are things I understand and can work with,

If the head gasket was gone or gear box then I'm in the hands of the mechanics and labour costs to the stars,

Thankfully I can work with these problems myself,

I've met a Levin enhthuseast who lives 40 minutes away from me,

He can do the timing belt for me when required,

I was told it was done but there's n markings on the bonnet or engine to back up the word of mouth,

So its a priority before paint,

He's also supplying me with parts, and invited me to take a passenger seat trip in his bzr to see how mine should be

I've declined the last offer for the moment anyways,

Its good to have contacts and a supply of parts,

I'm still in need of troubleshooting advise from yourself and others,

Aswell as discussion on modification.

If your selling that Catylist pm me with a price mate,

Also should I change front lights to black or keep em chrome?

I'm growing on the black

I'll get a picture of a black one with black lights to show example

Toyota-Levin-BZ-R-fq-690x459_zpsce5aaa7b

P.s.

I was coming home from exhaust change the other day in the wet,

I'm so used to driving diesel now and changing at low revs,

I changed to 4th at 2500rpm and lost power,

So I dropped back to second and put the foot down to try pick it up,

 she went to 3500rpm VT-i kicked in y'all

Which threw her up to 9000rpm in a flash and made me fish tail

Spectacular for the pedestrian but scared the shizzle out of me,

I need to get used to the power and the petrol engine
