Seemed strange to me that my 13 reg Zetec had no coin holder, but when I popped intl the local Ford dealer about 3 weeks back I noticed this clever little black rubber insert (see my pictures) that does two jobs at once - makes the cup holder much more cup friendly and holds a £2 coin. lf you pull it out you could 'trap' more coins underneath it rather than have them rattling about in the cup holders.

Anyway, my April car came without this part, so was it just missing or was the dealer being generous in giving me one foc?

tom.

My 62 plate Zetec didn't come with one, but my 13 plate facelift Zetec did!

I was under the impression that they were a standard addition to the new style Fiesta's.

Ah, so it sounds as if mine was pinched before I picked up the car. Thanks Dom.

Possibly! The only reason I believed that the new Fiesta's come with them as standard is because mine was a bog standard order, I didn't even deal with a salesperson or a dealership so I highly doubt that anyone threw in any goodies for me!

My may registered car (titanium spec) doesn't have that either. I did notice from your picture though that your cup holder is smooth on the inside and doesn't have the springy bits inside to hold the cup/can. Maybe this is why yours needs the middle bit with the flaps on?

I'll take a pic to show you what I mean.

Found the part number - Finis code 1807248

Strangely there's no price on the system so maybe they aren't available as a standalone part yet, I'll have a word in the ear of my local parts counter guy and see what the deal is.

It could have done with a few more slots for coins. One is not enough really.

Sweet if you get a price let me know and I'll buy one from you if you don't mind posting over to me,
I find red bull cans tip over when cornering roundabouts or changing gear
This item will grip the can regardless of size,
Not that I'm off the bull for 4 weeks now after 8 years of 2 per day

Should be £8.53 + VAT (£10.24) at your local dealer :)
