Correct Angle For Parking Sensors

Dear friends
i happy to say with helping your ideas and studying your threads last week i installed rear parking sensors to my fiesta 2011,\

so it work fine,but some time i think it says falls reading,,

i do not know is correct or not?

their is a up arrow on every sensors so i fitted sensors direction "up" mark.

can any one please tell me is that what is the correct angle for that sensors,

The arrow facing upwards is the correct alignment.

Your sensors may be picking up objects to the side of the car just out of the line of reverse which is normal.

My sensors often pick up posts and kerbs not directly behind the vehicle.

Most outer sensors normally point out at an angle due to the shape of the bumper.

your opinion is is that normal,? i re check sensors and all arrow marks up alignment

your correct ,the side sensors are detect ,,but nothing their any object

Moving the outer sensors in a bit is probably not an available option.

A false alarm is better than not detecting something that you then reverse into.

sensors cant be move so its is not a option,,

so my outer sensors are may be detect object,,but not behind the car

so i little turn the both side sensors //

To find a faulty sensor turn them on and lightly put your finger on the main face you should feel a quick pulsing

sorry iam not clear that,,you mean,,

switch on and close each sensors with finger

after hear ,,beep,, sound

is that rigt>>?

I've had the same problem when I installed parking sensors at the front.

The original Ford PDC sensor must be placed horizontal.

So the connector should be on the side, not at the top or bottom.
