Mass Airflow Location?

Hi,

I have a Ford CMAX 06 and I have been cleaning the throttle body and replaced the filter. The problem is that I am not able to locate the MAF sensor. It is usually close to the air filter box I have seen a few youtube videos but my MAF sensor is not there. Does anybody know where it is? :(

It is on a plastic section of tube directly after the air filter box.

Small black lump with a wiring connector on it.

Best thing to do is to disconnect the Mass Air Flow hose (rubber pipe that comes out of the airbox.

Then remove the top of the airbox filter lid completely from the filter. Take this out.

If you were to clean the MAF sensor, you can unscrew the three bolts (two at the top, one at the bottom centre). Then use electrical contact cleaner to clear it up. This helps towards MPG Gains.

This is a bit late on the thread, but do you have a picture of where the MAF sensor is?
