cjd222 Posted November 16, 2013 Share Posted November 16, 2013 Hello the engine light has just come on my Ford Fiesta Zetec and it has 2000 miles since its last service with no problems are there any basic checks I can do ( I am clueless) to see if this is a random fault or needs to be looked at by a garage? jeebowhite Posted November 16, 2013 Share Posted November 16, 2013 Disconnect the battery for a half hour then reconnect, if the issue is more than just a one off, then the error light will come back. have a look at my signature for "got an error on your car" and see about buying yourself a code reader!
