Hi guys,

Think it's about time I started one of these!

Just over a year ago I decided it was time to say bye to my old Alfa 147, came across this beauty and was sold instantly! Fiesta ZS 1.6 TDCI

First thing to do was match the badges with the rest of the car (the start of the colour theme!)

(excuse the dog!)

Next up was flyeyeing the headlights:

Results so far:

Added red footwel lights to continue the black and red theme! (terrible quality photo though)

Decided to finally get rid of the silver trim inside, finally got hold of the Asian grill (+ a wee spray and here is the finished result inside and out!

EDIT:

Totally forgot I had an exhaust fitted...don't know how that happened!

Also had Eibach 30mm fitted all round (no pics of that)

I have a video of how it sounds, but it's too big to upload straight to here so I'll put that up in a bit

Plans for the future:

Add a front splitter like this.

What I'd love to do is go mental with tuning, the list includes:

  • Uprated injectors
  • Hybrid turbo
  • Front mount intercooler
  • Replacing the 2" cat back system with a full manifold back 2.25" (required for >150bhp)
  • Remap to bring it all together

Sadly this makes things very expensive as I'd need a new clutch to handle the torque, an uprated pressure sensor for the turbo and (possibly) a new fuel pump. There are probably other things I've not thought of!

Also appreciate any suggestions :)

im considering the dual exit exhaust, is that pumaspeed or local? Pumaspeed seem expensive cos I remember asking a lad who got it for half the price of theirs. lookin good though

Thanks guys!

Fonfey - I got it custom made. Got a few quotes and decided on one for £300. Pumaspeed has been developed with performance in mind so is more expensive. Custom ones are made on the spot and are usually cheaper because of it. Mine was done by Simon's Custom Exhausts near Glasgow. Ring round and get prices to find the best deal.

I'm considering changing the tips for dual pipes so I've got 4 exits. Thoughts

yeah ill have a look, I think 4 exits might be a bit much for that rear valance, another valance might pull it off though.

  • 1 year later...

Well, a year and a half later, I've made it to a quad exit setup! Took the advice given and changed the valance. Anyone recognise it?

So happy with the results!
