6000Cd Eon Sound Problems

Hi i have a ford galaxy 2001 with a 6000CD RDS eon sound system wen its running CD or radio it only works from the left side i have cheaked the balance and its a 0 but wen i leave it on and take the system out and unplug the speaker plug then plug it back in the right side works but wen i take the key out and put it back in the left side only works again any ideas ?? thanks in advance
