Tyre pressures

Hi there i have 205/55 R16 tyres on my mondeo tdci and im just wondering what people with similar tyres run there tyre pressures at?according to the manual normal running with more than one person should be 35 psi on the front and 41 psi on the back. that seems high to me or am i wrong as ive not had this car long? only had my car for 4 weeks so fairly new on here hope i can help out with comments when ive had my motor a little longer cheers

32psi all round normal carriage std wheels, fully loaded 36psi front 40psi rear. However from my mondeo days you'll find that 34psi all round will give a better ride and slightly better handling without damaging the tyres.

taken from the tyre chart on the rear of the fuel flap the recomendations are

1-3 passengers 33psi front, 30psi rear

4-5 passengers 35psi front, 41psi rear

Well they're only recommendations after all. As long as you're somewhere in the ballpark you'll be fine
