linconhawk
Hi all, I own a Ford Ranger 2007 UK. I have smashed the near side rear light, I have a new one on order. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to remove it. If you open the tail gate, you can see 2 nuts, about 10mm, I have taken these out and the light cluster has become very slightly loose, but It just doesnt want to budge... Does anyone know how to remove the rear light cluster ? TIA Linconhawk

Ranger James
Hi,Any joy removing the lamp?. Thanks Fergus for anyone who reads this as I worked it out this weekend. Undo the 2 obvious bolts that holt it in. Get a flat bladed screw driver and a cloth. put the screw driver in the cloth and prize the part of the light cluster furthest to the front and prize it towards the rear of the car. It should then slide out of its mounting brackets. You need the cloth to stop the screwdriver damaging the paint work.
1ATony
Old post but I'll add to it in case this happens to someone else. Here's a great video that will show you how to remove the tail light from your Ford Ranger.
