Big_dom91
Right so just been down to my local bodyshop for a price on refurbing and spraying my alloys black and whilst there i asked about my bonnet lip to which he told me hed do it included in the price of the refurb wich is 140 for all 4 wheels but he said because it was chrome he couldnt guarantee that the paint would stick so would i be easier getting a new primed one of ford or take the chance of the paint not sricking ? jeebowhite
best bet is to get a new one, then you can sell the chrome one and make back some dosh!

Jockstar
I'm getting my chrome grill either colour coded or gloss black (haven't made my mind up) at the end of the month. I spoke to the guy who's going to be painting bits and pieces on my car and put the point to him regarding painting chrome. He said he'd done the grill on his Audi S8 matt black and it still looked fine after a while. He didn't seem to think there would be an issue. I guess time will tell. tomo91
You have to sand it down then lacquer it prime it paint it etc etc, could always look into vinyl wrapping it or buying one which is already colour coded, I'm gonna be wrapping mine gloss black in the coming months
