Badbeefy23
Hi my galaxy has went into limp home mode and the glow plug element light flashes on the dash. Does any body have any ideas what it could be or where to start looking? Thanks
jeebowhite
the glow plug light acts as a second engine management light. If you turn the engine off, then press and hold the trip computer reset button, keep hold as you turn the engine on and dont let go until it beeps. You should find your now in the on board computer, and if you keep pressing reset, you should find you get to a menu saying "DTC" with a number after it, if you press reset again, you may see error codes such as D900 or similar make a note of these and let us know and this should help to diagnose the issue. gregers
is this a mk2 or a mk3? if its a mk2 then check that your brake lights are all working,if they are then you need to plug in something like vag-com to read any fault codes that have been logged. if its a mk3 then do as jeebo has suggested 1st.then post up your findings.
