Storm16
hi all just wondering what tyres you fitted to your focus how you find them on price and how they handle last. I have Goodyear eff grip and they are doing well on grip and wear just find the side walls a little soft.

InKontrol
Mine is fitted with Michelin Primacy 3's, I'm not entirely sure what they're like for grip because I don't rag my car around like a lot of people do here in Cumbria...

Oponeo.co.uk showing these at £61 delivered, was your £65 price fitted? I'm currently running Gerutti DS803 205/55 R16 for winter (£220 for 4 fitted) on my 08 TDCi 90 estate. I haven't had a chance to drive on snow though they grip well enough for me (as winter tyres should when the temp is below 7C). I usually run factory Goodyears and have been happy with them and Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponse. The wife is running Continental ContiSportContact 3 on 215/45R17 on her 59 TDCi 110, they hold and handle better than mine seem to though I'm not prone to throwing my cars (or their occupants) about as much these days. I prefer to get my kicks on 2 wheels, or in a kayak (fuel is cheaper for the kayak).
BeccaaCat
It's not a focus but I had ZZ3s on my fiesta and loved them :')♥ Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
mixmasterlooney
These will be my next tyres starting summer. There are several different tyres from good year with this exact name but different models and ratings. Not sure what you have but these good year are unbeatable in wet performance and excellent wear, they are highly and I do mean highly rated by many german tyre testing sites. Google tyre compare and compare the avon to good year or any other tyre. I have seen one or two reviewers mentioning sidewall related issues but like I said there are many different ratings for this specific tyre some are better than others. The exact model I'm after isn't available with rim protection not sure how this affect sidewall performance. My other tyre choice would be Continental contact sport. Not rated so well like the goodyear eff grip but I would buy again from previous use, they are available with rim protection Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app

artscot79
they say summer tyres i use them all year round and have had no issues with noise or grip or wear hence why i always buy them the company specialised in winter tyres originally so theyre tyres work well in all conditions 65 a tyre fitted yes mate you can order them direct from many sites and take them to a tyre place but at half the price of the no1 tyres and 2nd in the list overall of best tyres what can you really say
SeanW
Avon ZZ3. Good wear, excellent grip and decent noise level. I got a set of these based on Stoney's recommendationThey stick glue to the road!! And very quiet compared to the original factory fit tyres (Conti's?) Oh andthe one Bindunyung tyre was on the front-nearside. Friend of mine borrowed the car the other day (whilst I fixed his heater resistor). One of the first things he commented on was how grippy it was. Nearly had to wrestle my keys out of his hand!! Vendee
Currently got Nokian WR G2 winter tyres fitted but on my summer rims I've got Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance.
ed12
Had a set of Falken 452's, fronts lasted 20k, rears are still going. Now have Dunlop SportMaxx RT's on the front, massive improvement through standing water and swift cornering on moist roads.
