BigD
Hello I'm currently using a Karcher K-series. I also have a Karcher rotating brush which is completely useless. I used to have a snowfoam bottle, which wasn't great as it was an unbranded one, but I more or less managed with it. When that broke, I though I'd splash out and get a proper Karcher one. I've used it twice now, and the thing is complete crap. No matter what you set the dial to (which incidentally, is so stiff I have to put a cloth around it to turn it), the thing has a mind of it's own and at best, all I get out of it is a mix of 90% water, so it all just runs straight off the car onto the drive. I was spraying it into the car for a good five minutes tonight and the bottle didn't even half empty (0.6L) - I even tried putting neat snowfoam in it, in the hope of it clinging onto the car a bit longer. But the water bias is just too high. Are these things just generally best avoided or have I just dropped on a really crap/faulty one? I dunno what brand the snowfoam is, but that's a moot point as it's generally not coming out of the bottle anyway. Thoughts?
K-Singh
I've had the karcher snow foam lance and it was rubbish ive been using an autobrite foam lance and its much better. In short its the karcher foam lance isnt very good. As for snow foam ive used different ones and valet pro neutral proved to be the best when balancing cost against effectiveness. As for washing a car never use a brush it will leave the car covered in swirl marks making it look bad in the sun. After foaming and rinsing the foam off the car use a lambswool wash mitt to wash the car using the two bucket method (one bucket full of shampoo and the other full of clean water to rinse the wash mitt after going over one panel). Hope this helps
BigD
The autobrite one is a bit pricey, £45 for Karcher K Series.
