Mike77
You could try a wire coat hanger,,, basically that's what the tool is anyway,,, cut 2 pieces and bend them like a horseshoe shape,,, the only differnce is, the ones you would buy are machined at the tips. Worth a try though.

MartynS
Isn't there something you can do on the radio itself to get it to show you the serial number so you don't need to remove it? It rings a bell...
saz and max
I dont know . Only had the car a few days x
MartynS
Just googled it, seems pressing numbers 6 and 1 together or 6 and 2 together may show the serial number (usually begins with an M or V). I can't guarantee anything though!
saz and max
Max has tried the wire coat hanger, and cant get the radio to budge at all. And he is afraid he is going to break it. looks like ill have to pay a garage to do it. How frustrating, when its probly so easy with the code. Grrr
Stoney871
Press and hold button 6 then press and release button 2. This will bring up the code. Once you have the code search eBay for sellers that do Ford M codes. Expect to pay a couple of pounds. For reference these are the keys you need to remove your radio- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PC5-83-Ford-KA-1997-2008-Radio-Stereo-Fitting-Removal-Extraction-Release-Keys-/180744023039?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item2a152eebff
